1. The R&D Unit
The Research & Development Unit, also known as the Experimental Laboratory, is a newly established department dedicated to researching and developing new formulations for future production by Florfarma.
Beyond the development of new pharmaceutical forms, this unit addresses issues that may arise during the production of existing forms and proposes innovations for new production lines and machinery, aiming to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
The laboratory is equipped with the necessary apparatus and equipment for laboratory-scale production and collaborates with the Physico-Chemical Laboratory to validate analytical methods and production processes.
2. Quality Control
In addition to its two production lines, the Florfarma Factory is also certified in Quality Control. This department comprises the Physico-Chemical Analysis Laboratory, which is the primary unit for Pharmaceutical Quality Control, and the Microbiological Laboratory, responsible for testing and analyzing raw materials and packaging materials entering the factory.
The Florfarma Factory oversees and monitors these processes through this department. Another key responsibility of the department is the analysis and completion of stability protocols for all product batches produced at the factory.
To fulfill these tasks, the department is equipped with facilities that meet Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, a qualified staff, necessary apparatus, and established procedural protocols.
